Mom and Pop Small Business Grants

Small Business owners in Miami-Dade County’s District 6 can now apply to receive up to $5,000 in grant funding from Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis’ Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program. Applications will be available starting June 2, 2025, and must be picked up in person at the District 6 Office, located at 1000 SW 57th Ave., Suite 201, Miami, FL 33144. Completed applications must be submitted between June 16 and June 23, 2025, by 4 p.m.

Commissioner Milian Orbis Champions May 20 as Cuban Independence Day in Miami-Dade County

The Miami-Dade County Commission unanimously passed a resolution sponsored by Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis recognizing May 20 as Cuban Independence Day and issuing a strong condemnation of the Cuban regime’s decades-long record of human rights abuses.

Natalie Milian Orbis Appointed to Serve as Miami-Dade County Commissioner for District 6

The Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners has appointed Natalie Milian Orbis to serve as the County Commissioner for District 6, filling the vacancy created by the appointment of former Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Panama.
